Teaching Strategies is a one-week (20 hour) online course that offers teachers the opportunity to receive feedback from Teacher Trainers Caroline Fraser and Miguel Aguirre in addition to sharing ideas and encouragement within a community of teachers learning together. Each day will also include observation and discussion of daily master classes taught by Caroline and Miguel.

Plus? While already an invaluable experience, Teaching Strategies Plus takes it one step further by offering the course "plus" optional participation in the Comfy Concert and both workshops, Suzuki Circle Cafe teacher discussion, and teacher music sharing opportunities.

Schedule: There are two sessions with a limit of 10 participants each. Click on a session below to view the daily timetable for the week.
Session I: July 19 - July 22
Session II: July 23 - July 29

Teaching Feedback: Participants may bring a lesson video from their studio or teach one of their own students during class time, receiving feedback on those lessons. As an alternative, participants may instead choose to teach a student belonging to another course participant, and receive feedback on their lesson as a “guest teacher.” Participants choosing this option will be paired with another teacher to “swap” students during the class.

Master Classes: We recommend that each participant brings at least one student for a master class during the course. Students of teacher participants will be given priority to sign up for master classes if they do so before April 1, 2022
